A life long writer, I began my dive into the world of visual storytelling my senior year at The University of Vermont. I enrolled in a narrative storytelling class in video, following the instruction of my thesis advisor that it would help with my thesis, A Narrative Window into Çatalhöyük, a screenplay adaptation bringing to life the neolithic civilization of Çatalhöyük. Learning the concepts of visual storytelling, I fell in love with capturing nature in its purest form. And making visual narratives featuring water. 

After dipping my toes into the pool of Adobe Creative Cloud, I jump started my career as a Social Media Intern for PhotovoiceWorldwide. In this role, I immersed myself in the world of visual communication and visual literacy, making graphics and videos for posting across social media platforms. I found my footing in the world of visual storytelling, culminating my internship in the creation of a video blog, What is Photovoice?, posted on YouTube, with 20K views and climbing. 

Following the success of my internship, I joined the team as a Content Creator full time. There, I began to pick up steam, building confidence in my abilities across graphic design, and honing my skills in video creation. My visual content was instrumental in a 500% growth in PhotovoiceWorldwide's social media presence. 

Pursing formal education in the field of video production, to elevate my skill set, I enrolled in Montgomery College. After the completion of my first semester at Montgomery College, I joined Montgomery College Television as a Student Video Producer/Intern. Launching my career, I engage in the arenas of live and studio video production. I serve as videographer, video editor, video producer, audio operator, production assistant, and utility across a variety of productions. 

Enrolled as both a student and employee, I completed certificates in Media Production and Video Production. I am now continuing my education and employment at Montgomery College pursuing certificates in Photography and Graphic Design. Collaborating with a team of award-winning videographers, video producers, and editors, I produce captivating results. I am eager for my path ahead at Montgomery College and MCTV. And am excited for further opportunities to push my skills to the next frontier.
